The Bihar School Examination Board, also popular as BSEB, is the main education board in the state of Bihar. BSEB is responsible for conducting Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) examinations in both government and private schools of the state. BSEB class 10 and 12 exams are generally conducted in February every year. For the students who are unable to clear the exam, the state board also conducts Supplementary School Examinations in May based on the course/syllabus announced by the State Government.
Every year, around 16 lakh students appear for the BSEB Matric exam while more than 13 lakh students appear for the Bihar Board Inter exams.
